Usually, the plush dolls we put at home or in the office often fall into dust, so how should we maintain them.
1. Keep the room clean and try to reduce dust. Clean the toy surface with clean, dry and soft tools frequently.
2. Avoid long-term sunlight, and keep the inside and outside of the toy dry.
3. When cleaning, necessary measures can be taken according to the size. For small ones, the parts of accessories that are afraid of wear can be stained with adhesive tape first, and then directly put into the washing machine for soft washing, drying, hanging in the shade and drying, and patting the toy intermittently to make its fur and filler fluffy and soft. For large toys, you can find the filling seam, cut the seam, take out the filling special (nylon cotton) special parts, and don’t take them out (to better maintain the appearance) and stick the parts that are afraid of wear with adhesive tape. Wash and dry the outer skin, then put the filler into the toy skin, shape and sew.
4. For wool / cloth or dolls equipped with high intelligent electronics, machine core and sound, before cleaning, be sure to take out the electronic components (some are not waterproof) or batteries to prevent damage in case of water.
5. After the cleaned toy is dry, use a clean comb or similar tools to comb it neatly along the direction of the fur to make its fur smooth and beautiful.
6. The simple and easy sterilization and disinfection method can use a steam iron with high power to gently iron the fluff back and forth, which also has a certain sterilization and decontamination effect.
7. The key to washing plush toys at home: for toys with few small parts, hand wash or machine wash with warm water at 30-40 ℃ can be used. Neutral detergent can be used when cleaning. For plush toys, the effect of using cashmere detergent will be better.
8. How to make toys not easy to get dirty and prolong their life? When buying toys at the beginning, do not discard them, whether they are cartons or plastic bags, for the purpose of packaging dust during storage. In humid areas, in order to prevent toys from getting damp, desiccants can be placed during storage, and stuffed toys should be kept away from overstocking to avoid deformation and damage.
